Dear people of God, if your mind sleeps, Satan takes opportunity to attack. We are in a warfare. Although we are in a battle, Jesus Christ has committed Himself to our victory! Ephesians 6:12 says: ‘For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms’. The battle now is in your mind. Will you choose to believe satan’s lies or obey our Lord Jesus Christ’s warning? Every time you allow yourself to think negatively, you start talking negatively and subsequently act negatively. A Christian must be careful about what he sees, what he hears, what he reads and what other people tell him, because we walk by faith, not by sight. Jesus said: ‘Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation (…)’.  When Jesus was tempted by satan in the desert, He simply quoted the written words of God and satan was demoralized and paralyzed. The Words of the Holy Spirit help you to overcome sin and temptation. They are your weapons that satan cannot withstand.
