Message Title: RESIST SATAN THE TEMPTER
PT: 1 Peter 5:6-11
When you are in the midst of the people of the world you are in a danger zone, where falsehood, unfaithfulness, greed and the likes are in practice. That is why Jesus prayed for His followers in the book of John 17:15 “keep them in the world but keep the world out of them”. We are in perilous times, and perilous times are very difficult to deal with. When you wake up and look through the high way of life the first thing that stares at us is nothing but evil. As our eyes are opened, we see satan and his hosts using man’s unrighteousness as material for his purpose: What is his purpose? To overthrow our position in Christ and to distract us from running the straight race with God.
