A MORE CONVENIENT DAY WITH APOSTLE JOHN CHI
The WORD with Senior Apostle John Chi of the Ark of God’s Covenant Ministry.
Message title / titre du message: A MORE CONVENIENT DAY / UN JOUR PLUS PROPICE
Proof text / texte de reference: Psalm 37:3-9
People of God, a more convenient day is when you think you will do something without pain and when the atmosphere is more friendly. Your time can fail but God’s time never fails. If you cannot serve God now as a cleaner, you will not be able to serve him when you become a leader especially if God is not your source. If He is your source, you will use all you have to serve Him. Can you see why many people find it difficult to serve God with all their substance? Imagine what would have happened to Abraham if he had waited for a more convenient time to serve God. It was not convenient for Abraham to sacrifice his only son Isaac. The promise of God in his life would have been forfeited. If Jeremiah had waited to become an orator, his name would not have been written in the Book of Life today. If the woman with the issue of blood had waited for a more convenient time, how would she have known that just a touch of Jesus’ garment was enough to make her whole? Most of us will please for God to give us more possessions. God values little efforts if they are done in truth and humility. In Mark 12:41-44, the widow gave out all she had. Her belief was beyond what she possessed. Her belief was in the giver. If your belief does not see beyond the little you have now, it will be difficult to see beyond if you become a master. As a follower, you have no friends but God. But as a leader, you have too many commitments. Why are you looking for a more convenient time to serve when you have no other friend but Him?
Poverty should not make you lose faith in God but rather push you to pray more. Daniel’s trials made him pray the more. The three Hebrew friends and Job did the same. In 2 Corinthians 6:2, the Bible says: “Now is the accepted time…….”. So, stop delaying. Believing in Christ will redeem your life. The fact that death is certain should determine the way we live our lives today. Are you still looking for a more convenient day to serve God? That day may never come. So, watch and be sober. Know that you need to build your life around those in need. When you recognize who you are before God, you will consider his will for you. We are created in the image and likeness of Jesus in our hearts and not in our looks, our positions, or in our positions. Treasure the message of truth in your life and live by it. Jesus lived by them and made them work. All our victories over satan are obtained by the power derived from Jesus Christ.
