People of God, Jesus Christ remains the greatest soul-winner the world has ever known. That is what he came, died and resurrected for. The case of the seven sons of Sceva is that of people who preach the Word but do not live according to the Word. Christian services are more than mere preaching. Every afflicted persons wants to be cured. Everyone you see today wants to change their life in one way. They want to accept Jesus Christ as their Saviour but need your love and care. The words we speak, the conversation we entertain, the sermons we preach are part of the talents we are invested with. They shall be for or against us on the last day. On the last day, only true believers shall rapture. If a sinner must know Jesus Christ, someone needs to show the way. How you respond to trials and temptations will either draw people towards God or drive them away from God. Always remember that there is someone watching you. It could be a friend or someone who does not share the same faith as you. A little example can have a big influence. Do not merely accept the name of Jesus Christ. Also accept His life. You must dwell in his presence - laugh, talk and walk with him. Never introduce yourself as a Christian. Let your lifestyle speak for you. Let Jesus Christ be seen in the way you live your life. One can be a Christian, an apostle, a prophet, etc. by profession but not such in heart. Our heart must be purified by faith. When your spirit is free, it is sensitive to God but when bound, it is useless. As God to give you a contrite heart and not a rebellious heart. Thousands fail in life today because they are unwilling to change something they do daily while others are moving up the ladder of life because they are wiling to change. What to you do daily that needs to be changed? Remember that wicked people can pray and fast without a thorough reformation of heart and life. Open the door of your heart. Ask the Holy Spirit to change you into Christ’s own.
